Rebuild Ordering History

The Rebuild Ordering History option recreates the customer's sales ordering history file.

The customer order history is a summary of order history that uses the last date sold, selling price, and quantity; it is used as a quick reference of the items currently being purchased by the customer. This information can be used to add items to future sales orders based on the items currently being purchased. The ordering history can also be used to create price lists or price sheets based on the current items being purchased by the customer in Rebuild Price List from History.

1. When you first enter the Rebuild Ordering History option the following message will appear: "This process requires the exclusive use of the CIHX file. Continue? No/Yes."

Note: The Rebuild Ordering History option can be run during the Close End of Day process. The number of orders to use to rebuild the ordering history is based on the Ordering History setting in Retention Options. Items can be removed from ordering history from the Remove from Ordering History option.
